This project, designated as an urban expressway, has a design speed of 80 km/h. The main bridge features six lanes in both directions, a length of 1000.5 meters, a standard section width of 26.65 meters, a standard section span of 30 meters, and a maximum span of 72 meters when crossing intersections. The continuous steel beam structure covers approximately 16,000 square meters, using over 7,000 tons of steel. Upon completion, the project will further enhance the integration of transportation between the eastern and western districts of Qingdao's West Coast New Area. The northern part of Lingshan Bay, especially the western foothills of Xiaozhu Mountain, will enjoy more convenient transportation, ending the current situation of steep slopes, dense forests, and winding paths. Together with the coastal highway, it will form a major east-west transportation artery in the Qingdao West Coast New Area. Installation is expected to begin in mid-2026.
